Looking Ahead
Alaska is entering a period of significant change. Major energy investments, discussions surrounding Alaska utilities, workforce shortages, housing affordability, the rising cost of living, and the need to attract and retain young professionals will shape our state's future for years to come. At the center of these conversations are the women who lead in every corner of Alaska and the next generation preparing to do the same.
Over the next two years, the Alaska Women's Leadership Forum is focused on reconnecting women across our state and creating opportunities for meaningful conversations that matter.
In 2026 and 2027, AWLF looks forward to welcoming leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, educators, public servants, and industry experts to share their perspectives on the issues shaping Alaska today. Together, we'll explore topics such as economic opportunity, housing, workforce development, entrepreneurship, energy, health, financial resilience, and emerging industries while fostering collaboration across generations.
A renewed emphasis will be placed on supporting young Alaska women as they prepare to become tomorrow's business owners, elected officials, educators, engineers, healthcare professionals, nonprofit leaders, and community changemakers. By connecting emerging leaders with experienced mentors and diverse perspectives, we hope to help build confidence, expand professional networks, and inspire the next generation to lead with purpose.
We believe Alaska's greatest resource has always been its people. By investing in women, encouraging thoughtful dialogue, and creating opportunities to learn from one another, we can help strengthen our communities and contribute to a more resilient future for Alaska.
Because all women lead.
